There is still a rare vehicle in Britain that has a World War II aircraft engine attached to it.

The vehicle is called 'The Best' on which British engineer, Paul Jameson tried to install a tank engine. In 1972, he installed the Merlin V12 engine of Rolls Royce when he faced some difficulties. This engine was used in World War II aircraft. However, for this, the structure of the vehicle had to be completely changed.

For this, Paul redesigned the outer shell of the car with the help of fiberglass. Then in 1977, it was certified as the world's most powerful car by the Guinness Book of World Records. It was claimed to achieve a top speed of 418 km/h but was not demonstrated in practice.

However, the Rolls Royce company filed a legal case against him and Paul moved from the UK to Spain as the company won the case. After Paul's death last year, his family announced the auction of the car, and it recently sold for just $87,000. However, it is very difficult to drive and can only get up to two and a half miles per gallon (4.5 Liter) and is also prohibitively expensive to operate.
