Mumbai: Sharib Hashmi, who played the role of King Shah Rukh Khan's friend in the Bollywood romantic film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, has revealed that Katrina Kaif's husband Vicky Kaushal auditioned for the role in the 2012 film.

In an interview, Sharib Hashmi said that Vicky Kaushal had auditioned for the role of Shahrukh Khan's friend in the super hit film Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012. The makers rejected him and gave me the chance to work because they felt that Vicky Kaushal was not the right name.

It should be noted that Shah Rukh Khan's film "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" was a super hit in Bollywood earning more than 120 crores. Apart from Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma also played an important role in this film.
